Stewart McCheyne plays Cousin Mac in the hit children’s rock band “Andy and the Odd Socks” and CBBC TV series “Andy and the Band”.
Mac is the whacky inventor and tech genius of the group. He is also the Keyboard player and Rhythm Guitarist of the Odd Socks.

Andy and the Odd Socks are a family friendly rock band who were formed in 2017. They have played all over the UK to sell out crowds in theatres, concert halls and venues. They also regularly tour festivals including Glastonbury, Bestival, Victorious, CarFest, GloWorm and the Balloon Fiestas.
After a couple of years of gigging around the UK, they successfully pitched the idea of a sitcom to the BBC following the adventures of the band on the road. Andy and the Band became the name of the series and they have since made 4 TV series, 3 albums, a podcast on BBC Sounds and popped up on various TV shows as guests.
The TV series Andy and the Band follows the gang touring in their amazing bus, the Rock N Rolla. Fans get in contact with them along the way with a problem or a task and the band try their best to help them. Nothing is as easy as it seems and from that hilarity ensues, lessons are learned, morals are made and wonderful songs are performed. The series features amazing cameos for incredible actors, musicians and celebrities including; Brain May, Ricky Wilson, Kimberly Wyatt, Nandi Bushell, Shakin’ Stevens, Sue Pollard, Anita Dobson, Nina Wadia, Jan Hunt and many more.
Andy and the Odd Socks are proud ambassadors of the Anti-Bullying Alliance charity. Each year during Anti-Bullying week we celebrate Odd Socks day in order to champion being unique, celebrate difference and hopefully conquer bullying throughout all aspects of life.
Series 4 was filmed in 2024 and is due to be released in 2025. Andy and the Band is now available on ABC kids in Australia and Roku, Tubi and Xumo in the USA.
